Many of our patients have the same questions about obtaining and using their CPAP machine. They are:
Q) How long will my new patient (new CPAP set up) appointment take?
A) New set ups are scheduled for one hour, all other appointments are scheduled for a half hour.
Q) When am I eligible for new equipment/supplies?
A) Your insurance company has guidelines as to when equipment /supplies are replaced. We have a full-time insurance verifier on staff to check benefits for our patients, and we can let you know what you are eligible for.
Q) My new mask is not working for me; it is making a mark on my face, making noise, etc. Can I exchange my mask?
A) Your therapist can help you with getting a better fit on your mask, but if you still aren't satisfied, we have a new mask exchange policy, where a new mask can be exchanged for a different mask within 30 days of receiving.
Q) My CPAP machine is making a funny noise, what do I need to do?
A) Please note what kind of noise is different and when. Then call CST and we will give you advice on how to correct the problem.
Q) What makes and models of machines and masks do we use?
A) We purchase machines and masks from 4 different vendors; we have a large variety of equipment that we use, and make recommendations based on your individual needs and preferences.
